We stand behind our work at Rankrace. This policy outlines when and how refunds are issued for our various services.

1. Rankrace Monitor — Subscription Plans

Free Tier

No charges apply. No refund needed.

Paid Subscriptions (Starter, Growth, Pro)

  • 7-Day Money-Back Guarantee: If you are not satisfied with your first month of a paid subscription, contact us within 7 days of your initial charge for a full refund — no questions asked.
  • After 7 days: Subscriptions are non-refundable for the current billing period. You may cancel at any time and retain access until the end of the paid period.
  • Cancellation: Cancel anytime from your dashboard under Account → Billing. Your subscription will not renew after the current period ends.
  • Proration: We do not prorate refunds for partial months on subscription plans.

2. Fix Shopify SEO Issues — One-Time Packages

Before Work Begins

If you request a cancellation before we have begun work on your Fix package, you are entitled to a full refund.

After Work Has Started

Once our team has begun technical implementation on your Shopify store:

  • Work in progress (less than 50% complete): A 50% refund of the package price may be issued at our discretion.
  • Work substantially complete (50%+ delivered): No refund is available, as significant labor and resources have been expended.
  • Work fully delivered: No refund is available.

We will provide a written scope document before starting work so you understand exactly what will be delivered.

3. Managed SEO Services — Monthly Retainer

First Month

If you are not satisfied with the quality of onboarding and initial work in your first billing month, contact us within 30 days of your start date to discuss your concerns. We will work to resolve issues or, at our discretion, provide a partial or full refund for the first month.

Ongoing Months

Monthly retainer fees are non-refundable after the month's work has commenced. You may cancel with 30 days' written notice, and no further charges will be made after the notice period.

4. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please contact us at [email protected] with:

  • Your name and email address used to purchase
  • The service or plan you purchased
  • The reason for your refund request
  • Your Stripe receipt or invoice number (if available)

We will respond within 2 business days. Approved refunds are processed within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.

5. Chargebacks

If you initiate a chargeback with your bank or card issuer instead of contacting us first, we reserve the right to dispute the chargeback with appropriate documentation. We encourage you to contact us first — we genuinely want to resolve any issues.

6. Exceptions

Refunds may be granted outside of these standard policies at our sole discretion in exceptional circumstances. We always aim to be fair and act in good faith.
